SECR Trade Apprentice Selection Process

Medical Fitness Test:
After getting shortlisted, a contestant is eligible to undergo a further system of Medical Fitness Test. Failing such shall be subject to rejection of a candidate. A separate fee of Rs. 24/- must be paid by the examinee towards medical examination.
After selection, the trainees have to execute a contract of one-year trade apprenticeship at the workshop. They will be engaged as apprentices to undergo a training for one-year trade-wise. The trainees shall be paid stipend during the training as per the rules of State Government of Chhattisgarh. The training stands terminated after completion of one year of Apprenticeship.
The trades that are accepted for this year’s apprenticeship programme are:
Welder, Turner, Carpenter, Fitter, Electrician, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English/Hindi), Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Painter, Office Assistant-cum- Computer Operator, Health Sanitary Inspector, Machinist, Electrician, and Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
