- The paper shall be categorised into two sections each of which consists 100 marks each for 100 questions per paper totalling to 200 marks.

- Main exam is based on seven parts separately all of which are compulsory to attend.
- Topics to be included are Language (Paper I), Essay writing (Paper II), History and Constitution & Public Administration (Paper III), Science & Technology, and Environment Studies (Paper IV), Economics and Geography (Paper V), Mathematics and Logical Ability (Paper VI), Philosophy and Sociology (Paper-VII).
- This exam shall be having both objective as well as subjective type questions.
- Each paper shall be held for 3 hours separately with marks and questions distributed in an equal proportion.
Exam Locations:
- Preliminary Test shall be held at Ambikapur, Baikunthpur, Bilaspur, Dhamtari, Durg-Bhilai, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, Jajagir, Jaspur, Kabirdham, Kanker, Korba, Mahasmund, Raipur, Raigarh, and Rajnandgaon.
