The Teacher Eligibility Test which was organized by various states as per the requirement of teachers in their Government or Primary schools. KTET is also the same this test is compulsory for all the aspirants who have a desire for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to 8.
The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan department conducts this test in the form of two papers i.e. Paper 1 is for those contenders who want to do teachers opting jobs for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. The Separate test will be organized by the department for selecting teachers for Category I (Lower Primary classes), Category II (Upper Primary Classes) Category III (High School Classes) and Category IV ( for Language Teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Specialist Teachers (Art & Craft) and Physical Education teachers.
