CLAT 2020 Application Form

This examination is national level entrance examination for the admission of UG, PG, and integrated law programs like B.S.W. LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.), B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.), L.L.M, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) etc. The Common Law Admission Test is one of the most important entrance examinations and each year this examination will be conducted for the aspirants. CLAT 2020 Notification

As per the decision made by the exam controlling board, there are some new changes has been announced in CLAT 2020 examination:

  • Now the upper age limit of this test will be 20 years (as on or before 31st Dec of the year of the exam)
  • As per the decision, the admission/counselling process will be conducted in only three rounds.

Eligibility Criteria

Education for UG Program:

Those candidates who want to participate in this test must have done 12th and the candidates from the recognized board with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% for SC/ST category.

Those applicants also who have given the examination but their result is not out yet, they can also apply for this examination.

Education for PG Program:

For applying PG Courses aspirants must have done LLB (5 year Integrated LLB degree) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for general candidates and 50% marks for ST/SC candidates.

Age Limit:

According to CLAT Notification candidate’s minimum age is 20 years old and maximum 22 years old in the case of SC/ST.

There is no upper age limit to apply for this and check age relaxation detail by the official advertisement.

Important Point:

Candidate must be an Indian citizen and NRIs.

Interested candidates who have cleared 12th with the compartment, they can also apply for this exam.

CLAT 2020 Application form Fee

For the general category candidates, the application fee is 4000/- per candidate.

Those candidates who belong from the reserved category they need to pay Rs. 3500/- Per candidate

Payment Mode:

Payment of application fee will be done via online mode by using net banking or debit card or credit card.

CLAT Exam Pattern

For UG Courses–

  • This examination will be conducted for 2 hours.
  • There will be total of 200 multiple answer type questions presented in this paper.
  • For each accurate answer, you will get one mark and for each wrong answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted.

For PG Courses–

  • There will be 150 multiple choice questions presented in this test.
  • Candidates need to finish this test in the duration of 2 hours because the total time of this examination is 2 hour.
  • For each accurate answer, you will get one mark and for each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.

CLAT Admit Card 2020

Candidates who applied earlier before the closing date of form submission can obtain CLAT 2020 Admit Card which is going to be available from the third week of April (tentative). The exam controlling authority will not send any call letter through e-mail or by post.
